Conference participants and project partners enjoyed a full-day field trip to the area of Marghine-Montiferru. First stop, a guided tour of the archeological site of Tamuli, with its nuraghe, village and necropolis. A beautiful, wild location overlooking the sea. Then, on to another nuragic site, where the small church of Saint Anthony Mount sits atop ancient volcanic rock, surrounded by thick forest. Third and final stop, the suggestive site of the medieval church of Saint Leonardo and the seven sacred fountains. A cool and quiet place of healing and contemplation.
